St Margaret’s House - also called the “ART” Building on London Road in Edinburgh is a repurposed, previously vacant office building, acquired in 2008 by ScotArt, the vast building was converted over the next few years, breathing new lift in the building and creating over 200 studios for budding artists, crafters and community organisations.

Getting to ESC on foot
ESC can be accessed on foot from London Road.
Cross the bridge, enter the building on Level 3 and descend the stairs to level B2. Exit the door from the reception and ESC’s entrance is on your left. See video for reference.
Access through building only available when it’s open:
Sun - 12–5 pm
Mon - Fri - 9 am–9 pm
Sat - 9 am–6 pm
When building is closed, follow same route as outlined in video below!
Getting to ESC by car
ESC’s accessible by car and has 24 hour car parking. Turn off of Restalrig Road South and follow the route outlined in the video below. Park anywhere around the building but please avoid blocking fire exits, loading bays and disabled car parking spaces.
